EPISODE SIXTY ONE: Altered Place

TRITHAL awakes oddly for no reason. He notices that the morning has nearly expired itself. He finds this odd because a chambermaid usually wakes them up if they sleep to late. He hops up fairly quickly. THRAX has awoken himself after having yet another one of his strange nightmares, and makes the same call as TRITHAL. The party had seperately woken up around the same time: Late morning. They meet in the recreation chamber. As they make that short journey they notice that the place looks abandoned. Not one chambermaid, or castle inhabitant insight.

TRITHAL: "O...k, was it just me or did everyone here vanish?"

Danika: "No, it's not just you."

THRAX: "Where the hell is Midus? I figured we would have been awaken butt-fuck early."

Aelle: "Well, let's go find him."

Palledoris: "Wait, we better wait for your friend Chris."

Just then, CHRIS walks in.

CHRIS: "Oh, uh, hey, dudes, something's going on here. No one is here. I thought I was Homer in that episode of the Simpsons. Heh-heh!"

THRAX and TRITHAL don't waste time bitching slapping CHRIS, and simply yank him out of the rec. chamber and head toward the King's study. The nine of them had to walk several stairs and halls before arriving to the King's study. They continue to see nothing more than air. They finally arrive to the study with no sign of the King or anyone.

TRITHAL: "What the fuck is going on?"

THRAX swallows down a lump his throat as his RPG knowledge is telling him where they need to go. Before he speaks up, he decides to explore the castle w/o the pressure of everyone staring at the party. The party follows him because it sounds like he knows what he is doing. They eventually arrive at basement level and come across a room with a few treasure chests resting in the middle of the room.

THRAX: "I wanted to see what was down here, but I couldn't get down here because there was a gaurd standing there who said I am not authorized to go down here. One thing about RPGs, when something weird is happening and everybody bones out of the castle for whatever reason, you re-examine the area."

The party opens all the chests and find some very awesome items, cheif among them "Golden potion" which restores all of a party members HP, a couple of ALLY DOWNs, "Golden SP" which restores a party member's SP to full, and an item called "Phoenix down" which revives all downed party members with half HP. They hale THRAX for his snoopy-ness, and run on up the the first floor. THRAX instructs them that there is only one place where they probably need to go: the parliament room based at the center of the castle. They arrive at the double doors of the entrance to the parliament and read a golden sign on the door: Parliament: House of Commons. The party never saw this room before but THRAX figured it existed. Two soldiers are standing posture at the entrance.

Soldiers: "Mercenaries, Midus is expecting you...the trial will begin."

Entire party: "WHAAAA~~~~~--?????!!?!?"
