The party materializes in the foyer outside the Duke's Chamber. TRITHAL fills everyone in on what has happened since they were all slaughtered by the enemies, and tells AXEM about his efforts with the lesbians. AXEM said he was proud of him for the attempt.
Outside a growing cheer could be heard. There is a small balcony overlooking the square to the left.
TRITHAL (to Ali): "Here's your chance. Go unite your people."
Ali then goes out onto the balcony and attempts to address the crowd to no avail. She looks back at the party, and utters quietly, "I-I kind-of don't know what to do here..." TRITHAL feels she may need some help so he joins her on the balcony and, being that he has a soothing-sounding voice, addresses the crowd...
TRITHAL: "HEY! LISTEN UP YOU FUCKERS! Galaria of the Night has stepped down as leader of the Periande, and as of now the Periande is dissolved. My name is Trithal the Divine Wind. My associates and I are responsible for defeating both the Periande and the Redusa. Now, I want you to listen up and listen good! Now that the Periande are gone, we're gonna re-establish the government that existed when the late Duke Annan ruled this land. This lady to my right is Ali, daughter of Annan... and from this moment on she is now Duchess Ali, Prefect of the Plains of Tanchi. Now, here's what I want all of you to do: I want you to go back to your home villages, discuss what you want changed, etc., then nominate a representative to come back here one month from today and meet with your Prefect to address your concerns and needs. You, yourselves, will bring about the new revolution in this prefecture. If you have any questions or concerns about anything, either talk to your representative or to Duchess Ali." (to Ali) "It's all yours! Good luck!"
Ali, nervous enough to pee herself, steps forward and says to the crowd, "Everyone! I am Ali, daughter of Annan. I promise you today that, if we work together, we will restore Tanchi to the glory of the days of my father!" The crowd cheers in celebration.
Ali steps back inside and says to the party, "I don't have a clue what I am doing or what I got myself into. I don't think I am ready to be a leader!"
Balthisar speaks up, "That's ok, Ali. I happen to think you are ready. Therefore, I'll be your appurtenance and help you do this. After all, I feel I owe it to you since it's because of me your father isn't here anymore."
Ali: "Oh, Why, Balthisar, thank you! Your helping me do this would take alot of pressure off of me, and would indeed go toward repaying your debt."
Everyone cheers as Ali and the party make their way downward to street level. A couple hours pass, during which time the party has chatted about with some townspeople about their job well done, and Ali has started the process of rounding up her new minions. She has automatically acquired all of the city's gaurds and soldiers. She is having a brief moment with her newly acquired minions.
Ali: "...The rest of you may fortify your positions."
Tanchi Soldiers: "Yes, your grace!"
The party decides that they have fought a long battle, and it was time to head back. So, Ali along with Evan and Balthisar walk the party to the Dolmaiyan river trail which is just outside the city gates... stopping at the records shop along the way to save their places. Before traveling any further toward the barge, they stop and say their goodbyes.
Ali: "I guess this is where we part company. Please make your way back to the mountain castle and see my uncle. He will be pleased to know that this mess is now behind us. Also, tell him I will come to see him next week. I am going to spend a few days here rallying the city and rebuilding it before visiting him."
TRITHAL: "Yeah, he will be glad to hear that you made it alive."
Ali, Evan AND Balthisar ARE DISMISSED FROM PARTY
Ali hugs THRAX, then TRITHAL, then CHRIS, and says, "Thank you for all of your help. I couldn't have done this without you all."
Ali then hugs the Saibotian Wizards [don't get any ideas] and says, "You all were a big help too. I won't forget you. (to Rishna): Call me, alright? We'll hang out some time."
AXEM is confused as to why Ali has been ignoring him seeing as how they are gonna be separated. He walks over to her and deliberately stands in her way.
AXEM: "Hey, you, you forgot about me....?"
Ali is relinquishing in the fact that she will no longer see this gigolo anymore so she simply leaves it at that and weakly hugs AXEM saying, "Thanks for your help."
AXEM: "I'll come here and see you, OK, babe?"
He lifts her hand and kisses it and lets it go. AXEM walks away not really paying attention to Ali's reaction to his unwelcome gesture.
And with that, the quartet and the Saibotian wizards walk away from the spot they were standing waving their hands in the air shouting, "Goodbye!" to the townspeople who can still be seen in the distance cheering on their departure. They neglect to notice that Ali is standing still as a statue in the otherwise moving crowd as if maybe she doesn't share the same amount of enthusiasm for their departure. The party walks away from the city without looking back and make their way toward the barge, which is docked a few meters ahead.............

While they are walking, Rishna catches up to AXEM and smiles as they walk side-by-side... and suddenly without warning, a Tanchi official jumps out from behind a tree and 4 Tanchi soldiers apprehend AXEM. This was quite startling through the eyes of Rishna. When the rest of the party turned to see what was going on, AXEM was subdued, gagged and put in cuffs by the Tanchi soldiers.
Tanchi official: "Axem the Stone Pillar: by order of the Duchess of Tanchi, you are under arrest!"
The rest of the party: "WHAAAA--~~~~???!?!??!!"
THRAX: "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! Who the fuck are you people?"
Tanchi official: "I am a detective with the Plains of Tanchi Prefectural Military Police. Do not interfere with us!"
TRITHAL: "Whoa, whoa, hold on! Lets just calm down here! Why is he being detained? What is he charged with?"
Tanchi official: "That is none of your concern, mercenary! Her Grace has issued a warrant for his arrest... and under the United Prefectural Law, he is to comply!"
As AXEM is being dragged away, the party tries to follow the soldiers back toward the city to figure out what the hell's going on... but the Tanchi official stops them saying, "Duchess Ali has requested you not interfere, and that you should return to Mount Sabretooth as she has instructed."
The party, feeling quite high on a power trip due to what they just accomplished, gives a motion like they are gonna brawl with this stubborn pud-whack.
TRITHAL: "We are not leaving without some kind of explanation!"
Suddenly, several other soldiers converge upon the scene.
Tanchi official: "Leave now, or you will be arrested for interfering with the prefectural government!"
Being clearly outnumbered and out matched, the party takes the wisest course of action and boards the barge with the horse lizards. THRAX reluctantly pushes the barge away from the shore and down the river away from Tanchi City.
As they are being carried away by the current, they look back in sadness and anger as they float farther away from the spot where their teammate was arrested. While the party stares blankly at the passing scenery along the river, they try to figure out why this has happened... and why the new Duchess (who they thought was their friend) gave them no explanation whatsoever.
