Once inside, TRITHAL and AXEM lay Evan down on a table Malachi cleared off. Malachi immediately begins working on restoring his health. He mixes chemicals and administers them to Evan. After an hour or so, Malachi says, "That should be enough. He needs to rest up quite a bit before he's 100%"
Evan's tolerances are now either back to the level they were beforehand or better. Malachi cast a spell on him which gradually restores his HP since his weak constitution wouldn't be able to absorb a massave amount of energy all-at-once.
Malachi: "I can bring his body back to health no problem, but his mind is another story. I don't know anything about that kinda shit."
TRITHAL sees this as the perfect opportunity to test Ali's psychic powers. TRITHAL motions Ali to join him next to the table where Evan lay.
TRITHAL: "Remember back in Episode 12 when you were watching me meditate? You managed to take a look inside my mind."
Ali: "Yeah, I remember. How did you know that?"
TRITHAL: "I could sense you looking into me from within my mind. Now, do you think you can do that again... this time with Evan?"
Ali: "Idunno. I guess I can try..."
TRITHAL grabs a chair and has Ali sit down. He then instructs her to take Evan's hand and try to focus into his mind. TRITHAL instructs everyone else in the room to keep quiet while she's doing this.
TRITHAL: "Do you see anything?"
Ali: "I see darkness... no, more like a void."
TRITHAL: "Try to go deeper and keep looking. Do you feel anything unusual?"
Ali: "Well, I suddenly feel an urge to redecorate a house and have some queer guy named Lesly fuck me in the ass... but I still see nothing."
TRITHAL: "Well, try to ignore that and keep looking for Evan in there."
After about a half hour of Ali probing the inactive mind of her fiancee, she suddenly says, "There he is! He's hiding in a corner all scared and shit."
TRITHAL: "Call out to him. See if he can hear you."
Ali: "Evan? It's Ali. Can you hear me?.... He looked at me! Now what?"
TRITHAL: "Try to get him to follow you out of that void, but do it slowly."
TRITHAL reaches out with his right hand, as if he's helping Ali guide Evan's mind back to consciousness. After a few minutes of this, Evan suddenly takes a deep breath and his eyes open. Ali immediately tearfully hugs Evan. The others in the room are amazed that Ali (with TRITHAL's help) managed to bring someone back from the dead.
Ali: "Are you OK, Evan?"
Evan: "I think so. That was some scariness right there. That dude is crazy."
Ali: "You know, you never know how much you care about someone until you think you will never see that person again. I care about you so much."
As a side-effect of the procedure, it seems now that Ali and Evan's minds are still connected, so now they know what each other are thinking. As Evan is recalling the events he remembers during his temporary assimilation, he brings up the last memory Visaggo left in his mind before he escaped. When Ali sees this, she is shocked and alarmed and tells TRITHAL he needs to see this memory also. TRITHAL places the first two fingers of his right hand against Ali's forehead and closes his eyes. Within a minute, the expression on his face changes to a totally-pissed off look. He opens his eyes, which are glowing a darker, fiercer blue than ever before, then gets up, goes outside, mounts his horse-lizzard (get your minds out of the gutter!) and rides off to the south.
When AXEM and THRAX ask Ali what the hell's going on, she responds "It was the last thing Visaggo left in Evan's mind. Four years ago Visaggo killed Minako... Trithal's girlfriend from Morgura."
