The party is carrying on light chatter.
TRITHAL: "This seems like a nice peaceful ride to have some organized chatter."
TRITHAL reaches off-camera for his trusty CHRIS-whacking pillow. He almost sheds a tear because there is no one to whack it with (then remembers that it's because CHRIS is dead... then stops being depressed). He then stuffs the pillow behind his head because he's uncomfortable where he's sitting and says,"...being that that is the case, just who the hell are you chicks?"
Palledoris (Age 45): "We're the Saibot Clan from Kaivez. I'm the first Saibot, Palledoris of the Darkness Flame."
Aelle (Age 39): "I'm the second Saibot, Aelle of the Dragon of Air."
Anri (Age 32): "I'm the third Saibot, Anri of the Ice Dragon."
Alys (Age 26): "I'm the fourth, Alys of the Holy Dragon."
Danika (Age 20): "I'm the fifth, Danika of the Forest Dragon."
Rishna (Age 17): "And I'm the sixth, Rishna of the Lightening Dragon."
Palledoris: "We've been waiting for three generations for our new master to come lead us to spiritual enlightenment. Now, that day has finally come."
Everyone looks at THRAX with a funny face. THRAX returns a 'Don't look at me! I don't have a fucking clue what's going on here!' look to the others.
Palledoris: "And who are the ones who travel with Lord Thrax?"
Ali (Age 18): "I am Ali, daughter of Annan... also Goddaughter of King Midus of Mount Sabretooth."
Evan (Age 19): "And I'm her bitch, Evan, son of Curtas of Muika."
TRITHAL (Age 26): "A few people have called me Satan, but to everyone else I'm Trithal the Divine Wind."
AXEM (Age 24): "And you already half-ass know me. I'm Axem the Stone Pillar... also stand-in narrator when our resident narrator sucks!"
THRAX: (Age 27): "... well, you ladies seem to know more about me than I do, so there's no point in me introducing myself."
Palledoris: "So why are you all going to Tanchi City? Lord Thrax said something about cleaning up a mess you made."
Ali: "I'm sure you've heard that we're the ones who killed Liiche of the Cold... In fact, I don't think there's anyone in the Land of Fantasy who hasn't by now. We're going to Tanchi City to meet with his followers and try to keep civil war from erupting."
Aelle: "That sounds like quite a task, and, no offense, but none of you seem very competent in diplomacy. How do you plan to pull that off?"
Ali: "We don't have a plan per se', but we have my connection to the city, Axem and Thrax's thirst for destruction, and Trithal's keen intellect and mastery of the spoken word."
AXEM: "Trithal's pretty good at getting us out of situations....and getting us into them as well. He just acts like a dumbass so people won't think he's that smart."
TRITHAL: "What's the deal with Thrax being your god or something?"
As Palledoris begins to tell that story, TRITHAL realizes how everyone else feels when he over-explains things... and sensing the she was about to do the same, says, "Ah, wait, Nevermind. I'll just look back at Episode 42 and find out for myself. How about telling us what you've been doing these past three generations while waiting for Thrax to show up?"
Rishna: "Our place in Kaivez is sort-of a convent. We've stayed there studying the old scrolls, meditating, and mastering the powers we envoke from the Elemental Dragons."
AXEM: "What the hell are Elemental Dragons?"
Aelle: "They are the holy beings that reign over the elements we use. They guide us until we're able to master the elements on our own. Palledoris, being the oldest and most-experienced, has already mastered the Darkness Flame. The rest of us are still learning how to summon our own elemental powers without the help of the Elemental Dragons."
Alys: "We've earned what little money we have by doing some odd jobs for certain people. That's how we've managed to get by for so long."
Anri: "Yeah. Even though we worship our god blindly like Christians do, we don't live in ignorance believing that we don't have to do anything for ourselves."
TRITHAL: "Ah! That's commendable! Ignorant fundamentalists annoy me!"
The 11-membered party carries on with more not-so-necessary-to-the-story discussions about the adventures they have been having, etc. As the sun sets, THRAX directs the horse lizards to move faster down the road. As said before, the horse lizards can move particularly fast when given the right treatment and direction, so the party managed to cover plenty of terrain during just a few hours. They reach the last town outside of the actual city of Tanchi, Oldajon. TRITHAL reminds the party that they will have to look out for the bandits to see what kind of dust, if any, they kicked up. They figure they have plenty of time before the bandits make it to Oldajon.
................
...........
TRITHAL: "Wait a minute... How the hell did we end up on the road when just a second ago we were on a barge floating up the river?"
AXEM: "Idunno. Maybe when I creamed the narrator a while ago I damaged a few of his brain cells."
THRAX: "Maybe. This is some fucked-up kind of weird. At least we finally made it to Oldajon, though."
TRITHAL: "Yeah, but in the process we lost a perfectly good barge! We could've used it to get back to Mount Sabretooth without walking! Axem, go and kick that narrator's ass again and get us our barge back!"
AXEM: "Hell no! I did it once already! You go do it!"
